Important Information for Fall 2012

How to Submit your Statement of Intent to Register(SIR): Visit the UC Merced portal to submit your SIR by the priority response date (May 1 for freshmen and June 1 for transfer students). For questions or concerns: (209) 228-4682.

Learn more about upcoming events for admitted students and sign up to attend!

Please be sure to e-mail the Admissions office immediately admissions@ucmerced.edu if you receive grades of "D" or "F", or if you drop or withdraw from courses listed on your application or academic update. You must also notify Admissions if you make any changes to your courses in progress.

 

Reminders:

From the Housing Office: The housing application will be available online.  Visit the Housing Web site to submit the housing contract and $300 reservation fee. Please note: You can only apply for housing 24 hours after you submit your Statement of Intent to Register or SIR.  

From the Financial Aid Office: We encourage you to complete and submit your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon as possible.  Our school code is 041271.  You can find more information on the Financial Aid site.

International Student Forms Required:

  1. Student Information Form (Please only complete the form that applies to you)
  2. Confidential Financial Statement

Students First and other Student Services:

As a UC Merced student, you will inherit a wealth of resources, including our customer-friendly and always helpful Students First Center (SFC).  If you have any questions, the SFC is a great place to start.  See our Students First site for more information about our SFC team and to learn about our other student services.
