APPLICATION FILING
The University of California fall priority filing period is November 1-30 each year. The spring priority filing period is July 1-31. Students can apply online here.
EVENTS
Each year, UC Merced holds a number of exciting events for students. Two of the major events are Preview Day (our campus open house) in October and Bobcat Day (a special program for admitted students) in April. Find out more information
Remember, the University of California Counselor Conference is held each year on different UC campuses. Registration for the following year begins in late spring. Download Counselor Conference 2009 materials.

STUDENT LIFE
Going Greek: Sororities and fraternities have come to the UC Merced campus, and students are excited about the new addition to the social scene. Please e-mail Charles Nies, the Associate Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs at cnies@ucmerced.edu or call (209) 228-7620 for more information.
On the Move: Students can visit the Wilderness Center located in the Recreation Center and participate in the Yosemite Leadership Program. For more information, visit the YLP site.
For the Sports Enthusiasts: Join our volleyball, soccer, baseball, basketball, softball, lacrosse, cheerleading, ultimate Frisbee, or aquatics teams. Check out the Recreation site to learn more.
Get Fit and Have Fun: Students can take a break from studying and stay in shape by using our beautiful new equipment, taking fitness and dance classes, or playing basketball or volleyball in the gym.
