Ni Hao! My name is Kim Chiang and I am currently in my fourth and final year here at UC  Merced as a Management major with a minor in Psychology. Originally from Mountain View, home of the Googleplex, in the bay area ;the Central Valley has quickly become home over the course of my college years. Hey everyone, my name is Sara Davallou. I am currently a second year student as a Management major with a minor in Psychology. I was born in Northern California, and now reside in Millbrae, CA which is 20 minutes south of the famous city of San Francisco. Being a second year student here at UC Merced, I’ve grown to love Merced and the Central Valley. Besides being full time student, I am also on UC Merced’s women soccer club team, and an active member of Delta Delta Delta, which is a sorority on campus. I am currently a Management major and a jack of many trades including mass food consumption, jumping rope, and speed walking. Minasan Yokoso! My name is Victoria Gallup and I am currently a Freshman here at UC Merced. I am majoring in Biology, as a large majority of the students are. I am originally from Ripon, CA so I’m one of the few people who don’t complain about the valley heat! Currently, I am involved in the Nikkei Student Union and Music for the Community; however, I plan on hopefully joining more! I enjoy playing my piano in the music room on campus, meeting new people, and running in the gym. Although, I haven’t been at UC Merced for long, I am truly enjoying my time here!

Hi everyone! My name is Michael Hernandez and I am originally from Whittier, CA. I am a fourth year Human Biology major with aspirations of going to medical school and becoming an ER doctor. I am a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, which is a fraternity on campus. I have played on the Men’s Volleyball team and competed with them to places as far as Kansas City. Looking back on my four years, I can honestly say I couldn’t have made a better decision for myself when I decided to attend UC Merced. іQue Onda! My name is Brenda Herrera. I am a senior majoring in Human Biology with a minor in Spanish. I’m a valley girl specifically from Madera.  On campus, I am part of a Hispanic based club called Latino Associated Students or L.A.S. for short. Also, I am part of an interest group called the F.E.W. for a future fraternity. I love coming to UC Merced because of the personal attention and small classroom sizes it offers me. Being part of this campus for almost four years now has not only provided me with a higher education, but has given me the opportunity to improve my leadership skills.
