Who should come to Preview Day?
Students who are interested in learning more about UC Merced and families of prospective students. 

1. How do I sign up? 
Sign up here via our online calendar.  If you can't register online or if you have any questons about the event, call (209) 228-4682 or (866) 270-7301 (toll-free in California).  

2. What time should I get there and what can I expect once I arrive?

• Registration/Check In begins at 9:00a.m
• The Event Program begins at 10:00 a.m.

Here is a brief summary of the day's events:

10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. -11:15 a.m.: Academic Presentations

• School of Engineering
• School of Natural Sciences
• School of Social Sciences, Humanities and Arts

10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. : Campus Information Fair

• Academic Programs
• Student Services
• Student Life

9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.: Walking Tours 

• Central Plant (at 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. only)
  
• Campus Tour (beginning at 9)
  
• Kolligian Library (beginning at 10)
  
• Residence / Housing (beginning at 11)
  

1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.: Application Workshop

1:45 p.m. to 2:15 p.m.: Financial Aid Workshop

2:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.: Student Panel

3. Do I have to pay for parking?
Parking for Preview Day is free.
