UC Merced offers many resources to support you throughout your academic journey. From academic advising and tutoring services to specialized workshops and study groups, the university ensures students have the tools they need to succeed. The Academic Success Center provides peer mentoring, writing assistance, and subject-specific tutoring, while the library offers access to extensive research materials and quiet study spaces. Additionally, UC Merced's career services and counseling center help students navigate both academic and personal challenges, ensuring a well-rounded support system. 

 

Bobcat Advising Center (BAC)
The Bobcat Advising Center (BAC) is the academic advising home for all first year students in every major, all lower division undeclared transfers, and all continuing undeclared students in any class year.

CatCard Office
The UC Merced CatCard is a multi-service identification card for students, faculty and staff. Used for secured building access, library services, Cat dollars/meal plans, campus recreation and athletics, transportation and Catspots savings at participating business in the Merced community.

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS)
Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) supports the mental health and well-being of our students.
