We host several on-campus events throughout the year, and we invite you to join us for the chance to find out what makes our campus so special. We also host online events and travel throughout the state to host admission receptions.

Transfer Academy

Transfer Academy is a 3-day, 2-night residential experience at the University of California, Merced designed for current community college students interested in transferring to a UC campus.
During the program, participants will experience life as a UC Merced student while exploring the academic, research, and community opportunities available at a University of California campus. Students will have the opportunity to connect with Admissions representatives, receive feedback on admissions eligibility, meet current transfer students, and learn more about undergraduate research opportunities and campus resources.
Participants will stay in a UC Merced residence hall and take part in workshops, networking opportunities, and activities designed to help prepare them for a successful transfer journey.
